Radisson Hotel Group has partnered with Accenture to launch a new AI-powered hotel discovery experience within ChatGPT, marking a significant step in the evolution of travel search and booking.
The new integration allows travellers to discover Radisson properties, compare accommodation options, check live room rates and explore hotel amenities through natural conversations inside ChatGPT. Users can interact with the experience by using @RadissonHotels in ChatGPT, streamlining the hotel search process without leaving the AI platform.
The initiative reflects a broader shift in how consumers discover products and services online, as businesses increasingly position themselves within conversational AI environments where users are spending more time researching, planning and making purchasing decisions.
According to Radisson Hotel Group and Accenture, the experience is designed to provide travellers with personalised recommendations based on destination preferences, travel requirements and booking criteria. Once users identify a suitable property, they can continue the booking process through Radisson’s official channels.
The companies described the launch as part of a growing movement towards what industry experts call “agentic commerce” — a model in which AI systems actively assist consumers throughout the discovery, evaluation and purchasing journey.
“This collaboration demonstrates how generative AI can transform the way travellers discover and engage with hospitality brands,” the companies said in announcing the launch.
The hospitality sector has emerged as one of the industries rapidly embracing generative AI technologies. Hotels, airlines and travel providers are increasingly experimenting with AI-powered assistants capable of answering customer questions, recommending destinations and simplifying booking workflows.
For Radisson, the move represents an effort to meet customers where travel planning is increasingly beginning: inside AI assistants rather than traditional search engines or online travel agencies.
Industry analysts view the launch as another sign that ChatGPT is evolving beyond its role as a conversational chatbot into a platform for commercial discovery and customer engagement. As more brands develop AI-native experiences, conversational interfaces are expected to become an increasingly important channel for customer acquisition and digital commerce.

The partnership also highlights Accenture’s continued focus on helping enterprises integrate generative AI into customer-facing services. The consulting giant has been working with organisations across industries to deploy AI-powered experiences that blend conversational interfaces with real-time business data.
Looking ahead, Radisson and Accenture indicated that future enhancements could include deeper personalisation, loyalty programme integration, reservation management capabilities and AI concierge services designed to support travellers throughout their journeys.
The launch comes amid increasing competition among travel brands to secure visibility within AI-powered platforms, as the industry adapts to changing consumer behaviour and the growing influence of conversational search.
As generative AI reshapes how people find information online, initiatives such as Radisson’s ChatGPT experience may offer a glimpse into the future of travel discovery one where conversations replace traditional search queries, and AI assistants become the first stop in the customer journey.
