The Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) and technology training platform Learn2Earn have announced a partnership to train one million Artificial Intelligence (AI) engineers over the next ten years.
The initiative was formalised during a meeting between DBI President David Daser and Learn2Earn CEO Kesiah Valkin. The programme will combine DBI’s physical training infrastructure with Learn2Earn’s technology-driven, project-based curriculum to provide participants with practical, industry-ready AI skills.
An initial cohort of 750 students has already been enrolled, with some undergoing training at DBI’s facilities. The programme is designed to equip participants with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, preparing them for roles in AI development and related technology fields.
Learn2Earn Chairman Iyinoluwa Aboyeji said the initiative reflects the urgent global demand for AI expertise. “The globe is turning towards Artificial Intelligence, and a lot of skills are being required,” he said.
DBI’s Head of Special Duties, Viola Askia‑Usoro, described the partnership as “the beginning of an interesting collaboration” that will leverage the institute’s resources to develop a large-scale talent pipeline.
Officials said a formal memorandum of understanding will be signed in the coming weeks to outline detailed commitments and milestones. The partnership is expected to play a key role in bridging the gap between technical education and workforce readiness, enabling graduates to gain the skills needed to compete in technology-driven industries.
