Nigeria Blockchain & AI Week 2026 is scheduled for November 6 and 7 at the Landmark Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, bringing together stakeholders from the artificial intelligence, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and financial technology sectors.
The two-day event, now in its sixth edition, will be held under the theme “Agenda 2036: Building Africa’s Trillion-Dollar Digital Economy at the Intersection of AI, Blockchain & Stablecoins”. According to the organisers, the conference will focus on emerging technologies and their potential role in Africa’s digital economy.
The programme is expected to attract policymakers, regulators, technology companies, entrepreneurs, investors, developers, financial institutions, researchers, academics and other participants from Nigeria and beyond.
The organisers say more than 50 speakers and participants from more than 20 countries are expected at the conference. The event website also lists a target of more than 10,000 attendees and more than 10 media partners.
The conference will examine a range of issues surrounding artificial intelligence, blockchain infrastructure, stablecoins, digital assets and the development of Africa’s technology ecosystem.
The published programme includes discussions on blockchain adoption in Africa, decentralised finance opportunities in emerging markets and the development of AI agents for real-world applications. The wider programme is also expected to cover areas including digital finance, cybersecurity, digital identity, financial inclusion, investment, regulation and technology-driven business models.
The organisers have positioned “Agenda 2036” around the broader question of how African countries can develop digital infrastructure, businesses and talent while making greater use of AI, blockchain and stablecoin technologies.
The conference will also feature startup showcases, exhibitions, networking sessions and product demonstrations. The second day is scheduled to include a hackathon, pitch competition and awards programme, according to the event’s published schedule.
