OpenAI Student Collective selection criteria
- You love ChatGPT, Codex, and OpenAI tools.
- You’re 18 years or older.
- You’re enrolled in an undergraduate college or university program as of August 2026 and expect to graduate after December 2027.
- You’re committed to 4–6 hours per week of participation from August 2026 through June 2027.
- You study in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, India, Japan, or South Korea and have work authorisation in your country of study. Studying elsewhere? You can register your interest by submitting an application, and we’ll let you know when the Collective becomes available in your country.
- You’re not currently an ambassador or intern for any other AI programs or companies.
