AI Opportunities in Nigeria and Beyond

Find the opportunities shaping Nigeria’s AI future

Discover grants, fellowships, research funding, competitions, accelerator programmes, scholarships, jobs, challenges and other opportunities for people building, researching, learning and working in artificial intelligence.

AIBase.ng Opportunities brings relevant AI opportunities into one place, making it easier for Nigerians and the wider African AI community to find opportunities that match their goals.

One place to discover AI opportunities

AI opportunities can be difficult to find. They are often spread across government websites, universities, research institutions, technology companies, foundations, innovation hubs and international organisations.

AIBase.ng brings them together in one searchable directory.

Whether you are an AI researcher looking for funding, a student searching for a scholarship, a startup seeking an accelerator, a developer looking for a challenge, or a professional exploring your next opportunity, our directory helps you discover what is available.

You can explore opportunities ranging from AI grants and research funding to scholarships, fellowships, competitions, accelerators, incubators, internships, jobs, training programmes, innovation initiatives and government programmes.

Built for Nigeria’s AI ecosystem

AIBase.ng is built with Nigeria at the centre.

We focus on opportunities that are available to Nigerians, opportunities based in Nigeria, and international opportunities that Nigerian applicants can access.

Where an opportunity is relevant to the wider African technology and AI ecosystem, we make that clear too.

Our goal is simple: make it easier for people in Nigeria to discover opportunities to learn, build, research, work and participate in the development of AI.

Local opportunities. Global opportunities. One directory.

Not every opportunity relevant to Nigerians is based in Nigeria.

Some of the most significant opportunities available to Nigerian applicants are offered by international universities, technology companies, research organisations, foundations and institutions.

That is why AIBase.ng includes both Nigeria-focused opportunities and international opportunities open to applicants from Nigeria, while clearly identifying the geographic eligibility of each listing.

Information you can act on

Every opportunity listed on AIBase.ng is presented with the information applicants need to decide whether it is relevant to them.

Depending on what the provider makes available, listings explain who can apply, where the opportunity is available, what support or funding is offered, what applicants are expected to provide, when applications close and where to apply. We also provide relevant information about the programme, its focus areas and other requirements that applicants should understand before applying.

We aim to make listings clear, factual and useful, without adding claims that are not supported by the opportunity provider.

An independent AI opportunity directory

AIBase.ng is an independent digital media platform focused on artificial intelligence.

Our opportunities directory is designed to help people discover and understand opportunities, not to replace the official information provided by the organisations offering them.

Before applying, always review the official opportunity page and application requirements. Eligibility, deadlines, funding terms and other conditions can change, and the provider’s official information takes precedence.
