FOUNDER’S PROFILE
Biography
Apotierioluwa Owoade is a Nigerian entrepreneur, language technology innovator, and Co-founder/Chief Executive Officer of Reedapt, an AI-powered dubbing and multilingual communication platform.
His interest in language accessibility and content localisation was shaped by his experience in the media and dubbing industry, where he observed the high cost and quality challenges associated with translating content into different languages. These experiences inspired him to develop technology that would enable creators to reach wider audiences without losing the authenticity of their stories.
Career & Leadership
Owoade co-founded Reedapt alongside David Mac-Asore, Maryann Nnaji, and Emmanuel Ibiang to address language accessibility challenges facing African content creators and organisations. Under his leadership, the company evolved from an experimental translation project into a comprehensive AI-powered dubbing and real-time interpretation platform.
He has led the company’s efforts to build localised AI systems capable of preserving cultural differences, emotional expression, and linguistic accuracy across multiple languages. His work focuses on ensuring that African stories can be shared globally without losing their original meaning and context.

Owoade’s vision is to make language a bridge rather than a barrier for African creators, businesses, and communities.
Through Reedapt, his focus includes:
- Advancing multilingual AI innovation
- Expanding access to African content globally
