Minor Hotels has announced the launch of a global AI and data platform developed in collaboration with Google Cloud, Salesforce, OneTrust, and Deloitte as part of its broader digital transformation strategy across its international portfolio.
The platform is designed to unify customer and operational data across more than 640 hotels, resorts, and branded residences worldwide. By consolidating data into a single network, the company aims to strengthen guest recognition, improve service delivery, and enable more personalised travel experiences across all its brands.
Built on Google Cloud’s advanced infrastructure, including BigQuery and Vertex AI, the system will support large-scale analytics and generative AI capabilities. These tools are expected to power intelligent automation, including AI-driven booking assistance, personalised itinerary planning, and real-time guest support services.
A key feature of the platform is its “clean-sheet” architecture, developed independently of legacy systems, enabling faster deployment of new AI capabilities and greater operational flexibility.
Data privacy and compliance are also central to the initiative. OneTrust will oversee consent management and regulatory alignment, ensuring that data-driven personalisation remains compliant with global privacy standards. Salesforce will manage customer engagement and marketing automation, while Deloitte will support system integration across the group’s global operations.
Speaking on the initiative, Minor Hotels’ Chief Commercial Officer, Ian Di Tullio, said:
“AI is becoming the front door to travel – and with it, control over demand is shifting. The brands that win will not be the most visible, but the most intelligent.”
The rollout is expected to continue through 2026, with additional AI-enabled guest services and operational enhancements planned as the platform scales across the group’s global properties.
