Microsoft has opened applications for the Elevate AI Developers Training Programme, an initiative designed to equip developers, students and technology professionals with practical skills in artificial intelligence and other emerging digital technologies.
The programme is being organised in partnership with Data Science Nigeria and aims to help participants earn globally recognised technology certifications while building the competencies needed in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
According to the organisers, the training will cover several technology areas including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity and business intelligence. Participants will also receive preparation for internationally recognised Microsoft certification examinations widely used by employers in the technology industry.
The programme will be delivered through a virtual learning format, allowing participants to access training materials, practical exercises and certification preparation resources online.
Participants will be able to pursue different certification tracks aligned with industry demand. These include Azure AI Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Fundamentals, Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals, Power Platform Fundamentals and Power BI Data Analyst certifications.
The initiative forms part of Microsoft’s broader effort to expand global access to artificial intelligence skills and prepare the workforce for an increasingly AI-driven economy.
Organisers said the programme is open to aspiring software developers, data analysts, students and professionals interested in building careers in artificial intelligence, cloud computing and cybersecurity.
Successful applicants will gain access to structured technical training, certification preparation resources and practical learning modules designed to help them develop modern digital solutions and improve their competitiveness in the global technology workforce.
